The Road Department is located in the Municipal Building at 28 Clark Avenue, Avella. Business hours for the Department are 6:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Questions or concerns may be directed by calling 724-587-3442 and press option 3. For an urgent voicemail, press #71 after leaving your message and an emergency notification will be sent. The Department is comprised of a Roadmaster, and two equipment operators. The Department is responsible for paving, maintenance and repair, street sweeping, snow removal, storm sewers, right-of-way mowing, trees and brush clearing and sign replacement. The park facility is also maintained by the Department.

Municipal Lien Letter is $15.00 per parcel, payable to Cross Creek Township .
