Building and Zoning

ALERT 

ALL BUILDING PERMIT APPLICANTS

A Data Collector from Washington County Tax Revenue’s office will be conducting periodic visits to your property. These visits are essential to document the progress of construction for your building permit; as well as, gather pertinent information needed for assessment purposes.


Building Permits:
Residential Building Permit
3 sets of standard drawings
Sewer permit
Zoning permit

Commercial Building Permits:
3 sets of sealed engineered drawings
Sewer permit
Zoning permit


Provide a map of your lot showing any existing structures, and the proposed structure. Draw arrows from all 4 sides of proposed structure and measure distance from proposed structure to property line from each side and include the 4 measurements on the map. This is to determine you are meeting or exceeding the Front, Side and Rearyard setbacks.

Proof of insurance for contractor.
