Budget workshops start in October each year. By November township meeting the tentative budget is available for public inspection and will be advertised once in a local newspaper as such. By December township meeting the proposed budget is adopted and must be adopted by December 31. Any budget amendments must be made by February 15. [Township Code, Section 3202(b) & (d)]
